I should also add, “British Isles” is a geographical term referring to the larger islands of Ireland and Great Britain as well as several smaller islands, such as the Orkneys, and the Channel Islands surrounding these two larger ones.
Confusing, innit?......lol
And there’s more: the Channel Islands, the Isle of Wight and the Scilly Isles are part of England and therefore Britain, but the Isle of Man is technically not part of the UK, but is a Crown Colony, although even more confusingly, most people just consider it part of the UK generally but not part of England, some will consider it part of England as well as the UK.....lol
(no doubt Vanders, sinsempire and other English freepers will be along to tell me that I have got it wrong!...lol)
