no shocker, MSM did not cover the 9th circuit's dismissal of the claim. i am still in shock that a US court refuses to protect the right of a student to wear a shirt with an American flag or that a shirt could be found to incite a riot.

Principal Miguel Rodriguez decided the school, which has a large Hispanic population, would censor students wearing American flag apparel and send them home, out of concern for their safety

Yo Miguel..you are in America. Didn’t Mexicans come here for a better life. Seems they just want to turn the USA into the chithole they all came from.

I don’t care about stinko de mayo or anything else that comes from there including the people who enter illegally.

My take on it is that foreign nationals now OWN that school.

You can’t wear American flag memorabilia on a U. S. school campus because it might start a riot?

Gee, I wonder if there’s a bigger problem there, that folks are ignoring.

INS needs to do a roll through that place and thin the herd.

To hell with the 14th Amendment that is always misread to justify the unjustifiable.

Something really bothers me with this.

What students that are sent home for wearing shirts with the U.S. Flag on them don't show up at school the very next day with the same shirts on?

Their constitutional rights don't depend on the U.S. Supreme Court deciding to hear their case. It starts with the students - and their parents - defending their rights and making a stand.

Anyone parent on here with school age children should buy a shirt with the U.S. Flag printed on it and make sure their students wear it to school on Monday.

What the h is “Cinco De Mayo”? I would favor making May 5th American flag shirt day, though.

Here’s how we reverse this - find out if this judge (or any of the others on this court) are up for re-election in November 2014. If so, find out who’s running for that seat .. and then find out what they stand for (whose flag they serve under), and help them get elected to this seat.

When you find out that info .. post it on FR and the CA Freepers will be able to see the name in order to vote for the right person.

Hope that helps .. and I also hope this isn’t a lifetime apt by some dem.
