Actually, the "foundations" of the modern world were laid during the Roman empire. An argument could be made going back to the ancient Greeks.
Most of the people with the strange interpretations don’t even know how their own government works.
HUH do you know how the system works over there.
Scotland runs Scotland, hell Scottish have some say how England, Wales runs itself.
Why some think that the Uk runs Scotland is beyond me, maybe some have watched braveheart too much.
They went for broke last night to get their more socialist nation and failed miserable , because at least most there have a brain and understand that what Salmon promised was never going to happen
I don’t know much about him, but this seems to show some integrity. Maybe he’ll retire to work out some of the things the separation camp forgot, like squarely answering economic questions, planning on perhaps being forced to travel Iceland’s path outside the EU, making sure the Shetlands stay in Scotland, and what currency to use.
exactly.
many of those who voted in Glassgow for yes are from a background of sectarianism , and have Irish roots.
Their whole vote was against Britain which is steeped in bigotry and sectarianism
All excellent points.
what he needs is an economic lesson before he ever promises his far left radical Marxism
Nigel Farage said Salmond’s “independence” was not real because he wanted to keep Scotland in the EU.
Farage and UKIP opposed it. Hopefully Scotland and the rest of the UK will vote UKIP in the election next May 7th for the House of Commons.
The by-election in Clacton on October 9th will also be a test of UKIP strength.
Glasgow’s vote was pure anti-tory childish nonsense.
Demonstrations, fire, and violence in Glasgow tonight.
At least 1 “Yes” voter was stabbed, and a fire was started near the newspaper offices.
The stabbing is pure FB rumour, the BBC says the police are saying no such incident has happened.
YES Facebookers are claiming a photo showing a Saltire being burnt. Frankly, given the foreground, it looks more likely a UJ is being burnt.
Amen!
Guess he didn’t take it well
Nonsense. Not that I have anything against invaders and conquerors but there was no invasion of "Catholic Irish" that destroyed the Beakers. The Beakers, like the Danes, the Celts and the Basques, were evangelized.
