Like Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland have their own regional parliaments... However, England's lack of a similar legislative body has led to a messy situation where Scottish lawmakers can vote on issues that only affect England at the U.K.-wide Westminster parliament

...

Just as Scotland will vote separately…on their issues of tax, spending and welfare, so too England, as well as Wales and Northern Ireland, should be able to vote on these issues

This reminds me a bit of the voters on Indian reservations who can vote all kinds of taxes on the people who live off-reservation in nearby towns but don’t have to pay the txes themselves.

Why pick on Indians? That's small scale stuff.

The big scale stuff is all the people in cities who vote themselves more and more free sh*t for which everyone has to pay.

At least us Redskins try to earn a little of our own money with casinos, tobacco, oil royalties and the like.

What do the jag-offs in the inner cities do?

Why shouldn’t each nation set (and pay for) its own domestic policies and the British government just take of things like defense, treaties, immigration, etc.?

That is supposed to be the big picture governing framework of our constitution.

Correct, and the white kids in the towns off the reservation can not use the school facilities on the reservation that their parents paid for thru double taxation.
