Bob Menendez, in Jersey City to watch on as 40 immigrants became U.S. citizens, said he expects President Obama's delayed executive order revamping the nation's immigration laws to be "big and bold". Menendez, a Democrat, told The Jersey Journal Obama's decision to delay taking action on immigration until after November's mid-term elections "deeply disappointed" him. The delay, which angered immigrant advocacy groups, is widely seen as an attempt to help Democrats in danger of losing re-election.

Yes — The GOP has no intention of opposing amnesty, and desire it greatly themselves.
Obama may go big and bold but the lame duck session will not fund it. If the government shuts down it will be the illegals’ fault.

Can he give green cards to 8 million or so illegals? -No
Can he unilaterally stop all deportations? -Yes
Can he disband the border patrol and ICE? -No
Can he forgive the crimes committed by illegals? -No
With his pen and phone say that all illegals are citizens? - No

Well Obama did give a bunch of green cards to the so called dreamers and as POTUS he does have the power to pardon? Confused in Nevada.

Obama gave them temporary work permits for 2 years and deferred deportation. A green card is permanent resident status and takes 5-10 years to get once approved.

Yes — Oh there might be some who wouldn’t due to principles, but I think it’ll end up being like what happened when the NSA’s abuses came to light: favorable to the government/elite.

2 years 5 years. Certainly the mean ole Republicans aren’t going to send these future Doctors, Lawyers, Teachers and Nuclear Physicists back home. “Under the Constitution” that works well for Obama.
