A keynote speaker was pulling out his notes one last time, when he remembered something important: he had left his teeth in a jar back in his hotel room.
He asked the fellow next to him if he could stall while he ran up to retrieve his choppers.
The other man figured out the problem and said, “It’s safe. I just happen to have a set of dentures here in my pocket.”
The speaker tried them on (in?) and they fit OK. He gave the speech, it went over well, and on time so he sat down, removed the teeth and, drying them off with a napkin, said to the Good Samaritan: “I sure am lucky to have been seated next to a dentist!”
The other man took the teeth back and replied, “I’m not a dentist. I own a funeral home.”
