I've learned that hot, strong, good-quality coffee in the AM just rips my guts, giving me the clutching, clawing sensation. I can't live without coffee, so I'm buying the Iced Coffee from International Delight and slip in a tube of Folgers to amp it up.
Good compromise. As everybody knows, Iced Coffee is Cool!
Years ago, that happened to my Mom, and the dentist and her dentist husband took off for Palm Springs for the weekend, no way to reach them. One wonders why so many medical issues arise as the weekend begins, but they invariably do so.
I ended up taking her to the ER, and she was admitted to the hospital for IV antibiotics, along with pain management, which took care of the immediate issues. Dental infections are nothing to mess with, and my husband and I both have to take antibiotics an hour prior to any invasive dental or medical procedure.
