What’s the over/under on actual attendance?

I’m guessing around 12,000, which will be reported in the New York Times as “Hundreds of Thousands”.

And the NYPD, which is able to instantaneously count the number of nose hairs in the crowd watching the ball drop, will suddenly become completely incapable of estimating the size of a crowd, except to say that it is “more than ten”.

The pinhead behind this was interviewed(in all seriousness) by Ellis Henican on 77 WABC last night and she said it will be one hundred thousand. They ought to be able to do it in a city as delusional as NYC and yet I doubt it all the same.
