The thing most people don’t understand... libs outside of Texas would support the effort... because it would mean the remaining states would never have another republican president.

If Texas gains independence it would likely cause other states to follow them. I support the secession of states and areas within states that still believe in the principles of our founding fathers. There is no reason to keep the union together or mourn it after what it's become. It doesn't resemble the nation our founding fathers intended to create whatsoever, and they wouldn't support it or waste their time trying to fix it by working within a massive, corrupt and broken system that is infested with people who literally hate our Constitution and undermine it every chance they get.

Texas is a great state full of patriots, but it has it's own significant problems. It didn't escape the federal government's abuse of power over the decades unscathed, and it still has a problem with the powerful Republican establishment. It's not perfect by any means, but it's done better than a lot of other states, and it has a huge amount of potential to save itself. Gaining independence is still going to be an uphill battle against the odds, but we have to try more extreme measures that can result in revolutionary change because that's the magnitude of change that we need at this point. It doesn't matter which state you live in, if we don't find proactive solutions to protect the freedoms we still have while regaining those we have lost then we are all going to lose in the end, and we don't have much time left.

We don't have to abandon the more conventional approaches we have used over the years, but we know from experience that they are not enough when used alone. We have never been able to stop the growth of liberalism in this country, but only slow it down at times. If we can't even stop it then how are we going to reverse it? We aren't unless we come up with a drastically different game plan. We need to use less conventional and more extreme methods. It's time to use acts of civil disobedience to protest unconstitutional laws and mandates. We have to start being defiant and stop hindering ourselves by playing by the rules against an enemy that doesn't.

The left in this country basically disarmed themselves with their extreme stance on guns in an attempt disarm us all, but they have skills that have been very successful that we need for our own cause now. We aren't nearly as good as they are at organizing these types of defiant protest because we lack their skill when it comes to using those tactics, and because many on the right don't want to take part in any tactic they associate with the radical left, but that's a huge mistake. We need to use these things against them for our own cause now. No one is going to solve this problem by themselves and we all need to be active and work together on this. It's time for civil disobedience, but it's only going to work if enough people are willing to get involved.
