I really don’t want to see him do this. I would like to see only one conservative candidate, and I would like it to be Ted Cruz. Let the GOPs candidates split the moderate vote for a change.

Wouldn’t Surgeon General be a perfect fit for him?

I don’t see him being an egotistical spoiler like Newt or Huckabee, but I could be wrong.

Agreed. There is nobody out there more capable of carrying the Reagan mantle than is Ted Cruz. Ted Cruz is a steadfast conservative with an unflinching message, unlike the squishy, shape-shifting views of Rand Paul.

I love Ted Cruz, and think he’s brilliant. He’s also tough as nails.

Having said that, I’m not sure whether he would be the BEST candidate. If he runs, it will be interesting to see how he does in the primaries and debates, ect. I would certainly vote for him with enthusiasm if he ends up being nominated, I have no doubt about that.

“I would like to see only one conservative candidate, and I would like it to be Ted Cruz.”

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
If only one conservative was in the running - against a field of RINO’s like Paul, Christie, etc. - they would get slaughtered.
No, we need nothing but true conservative candidates to select from.
I like Cruz. I like everything he says and stands for. If he is the Republican nominee, I will certainly vote for him. However, I will feel somewhat hypocritical after criticizing Obama for not being a “natural-born citizen” (born in the U. S. to parents, both U. S. citizens.)
I would be happy with either of them. I am very happy he’s made this statement. He could transform the image of the GOP. Seriously. We should welcome him with open arms if he decides to run. Doesn’t mean that Cruz won’t beat him in the primaries, but I personally believe this helps us.
