I'm not quite sure about the political slant of the developers, but DuckDuckGo is a good search engine which *doesn't* track your information or searches... and the quality of the searches has been getting better by leaps and bounds. The founders seem to be of the libertarian sort, at least insofar as internet privacy is concerned...

Thanks for the info!

I’ve been using Bing even though I’ve heard they’re a bunch of lefties. Bing does great visuals on their search page and honors various holidays, Memorial Day, Independence Day, etc; unlike Google which uses it’s search page imagery to promote it’s warped ideology.

DuckDuckGo and Startpage are two I’ll take a look at.
