As for a Germans vs Russians their estimates are inflated. In 1945 Germany still had a racist law prescribing aborting for an ‘ethnic purity’ reasons. Any woman who wanted an abortion (and there were many because a few could afford even to feed themselves) simply went to the doctors claiming pregnancy as a result of rape by the Soviet soldier of Tatar or Chinese ethnicity.
