My daughter and I were watching “Top Gear”, the British car show, last Monday night. On it they were test driving a new McClaren (I think that was it).

Anyways, it is their version of a “hybrid”. It travels 6 miles on 125 “computer size” batteries, before needing a two hour charge. But you can switch it to the “gas powered generator” which powers the car and charges the battery. It would do over 300 mph on the “gas powered generator”.

Pretty impressive, but I couldn't stop laughing at the hypocrisy....I would call the generator an internal combustion engine, but what do I know??
