Which has nothing to do with the massive imbalance between the Soviet power versus this limited force that is left to Russia, that you claim is more powerful.

Nasty stuff. It usually ruins your whole afternoon when you are on ship and acquired one right over the waterline. BTW, are you with me and Laz on empire and pillage, DV? You seems like have just the proper name!

So to distract from the actual stupidity of your claim, you want to play a game of naming individual weapons systems.

No wonder you could make the preposterous claim that the Russian military is stronger today than the Soviet military the world faced in the 1980s.

Yes, but to save time, and to get off this endless useless post nonsense, why don’t you just give the big picture that makes the current Russian military so much more powerful than the Soviet threat we faced in the 1980s.

You are exactly right, ansel. It is time to disband NATO and stop being nervous after all.

You can’t answer a single one quickly, because if you did you would understand its capabilities, weaknesses and how it can be used. You are a big phony!!

What you can’t do, is explain your claim that the current Russian military is more powerful and capable than the enemy we faced in 1987.

Yes I can all I can say is that the quality and firepower of their weapons systems is far superior to their 1987 technology. The 1991 Gulf War proved it beyond the shadow of a doubt which got the Russian weapons designers back to the table. They have also modernized some of their older systems. There are weapons that are called force multipliers (i.e MLRS) which does give forces with less numbers greater destructive firepower and force projection.

Very nasty and a new force multiplier type technology. Putin is out to recreate the old Russia of the czars with a new twist. I believe that he has some surprising goals.
