I see it that way also, but still fear he will be railroaded nonetheless

My predictions? No indictment. Some rioting. Reverand Al apopleptic. Ritualized Justice Department investigation that leads nowhere. And Wilson never works as a police officer again.

Where the dead guy won the senate seat.

I remember that. If John Ashcroft wasn't pro-life before the election he sure was after it.

Maybe they are dragging it out so that by the time the GJ decides it will be cold of winter and less likely to have street marches and riots. Maybe a couple feet of snow will slow down the marchers. The only problem with that is that they may need stores burning to be able to keep warm if they do have marches and riots.

In reality, Ferguson has some extremely nice neighborhoods - hundred-plus year-old houses that are very well maintained. A small but extremely dedicated group of businessmen have worked for decades to establish and maintain a commercial base in the town, as well. Sadly, many of these businesses rest on W. Florissant Road. Ferguson is basically an island of civilization in a ghetto sea. It shares a border with Kinloch - an absolute basket case of a muni - and Berkeley, ditto (although not as bad as Kinloch). It seems highly unlikely that Ferguson will be able to recover from the domestic terrorism unleashed on its streets by the Brown shooting. The very same jackals who burned Quik Trip down are now threatening the corporation to rebuild... “or else!” Or else what? No mentally balanced company in the world would want to build in Ferguson.

The terrorists are even running wild in the town’s open air vegetable market - scaring the hell out of housewives and threatening vendors. They’ll kill that off, too - per their plan.

I wonder if this delay is to allow Officer Wilson’s injuries to heal so that when he goes on trial it will not be obvious that Brown had attacked him...
