Facebook will likely end its relationship with a controversial conservative policy organization, The Chronicle learned Tuesday.

The social media giant in Menlo Park would be the second Silicon Valley giant in recent days to sever ties with the American Legislative Exchange Council, known as ALEC. On Monday, Google Chairman Eric Schmidt told a radio show that the company would end its membership with the group over its stance on global warming.

ALEC was “literally lying” about climate change, Schmidt said.

And the pattern continues of coerced censorship by the left.

I suspect there is a single leftist entity behind all of these tech companies that prods them to do their bidding.

But Yahoo is very rational and reasonable in their analysis.

Perhaps conservatives should band together and buy Yahoo stock and appoint a conservative to lead that company.

I'm guessing he was forthcoming with his proof of these lies? /s

Yep, but you can bet Soros doesn’t use his own money in this. So whose money does he use? Same as all the NY gang use, the digital phantom money creation of the NY Federal Reserve.

ALEC is a an organization of state legislators and is a great resource for state political coordination.

I don’t think they want to consider suing members that choose to withdraw.

The people to sue are the people that pull the strings on the tech company puppets and that lawsuit can only be filed by a tech company. Yahoo could do it but probably won’t. However, if Yahoo was taken over by conservatives, Game On!

Dropping out of ALEC just leaves them defenseless when Liberals start looking at Mark Zuckerberg’s bank account as a new source of funding for their Social Justice programs.

Couldn’t happen to a nicer bunch of people. /s

When one supplier adopts an offensive attitude, it opens the door for an alternative. Hopefully a conservative group will form a competitor for Facebook, one that will allow for rational discussion. Our national papers are leading the way to censorship. It is my hope that one of the large city papers will adopt a conservative format that allows for reasonable review and discussion of issues. I dropped my subscription to the Washington Post in the early 2000’s when their reporting, always liberal, reached a point that I almost became ill when reading.
