I’m thinking that Obama desperately wants to put the Muslim Brotherhood in charge of at least one country before he leaves office. Egypt is off the table at this point, so Syria is in play. I really don’t have any confidence in anyone Obama is backing right now.
Not that I’m any fan of Assad, but at least he is more predictable and does not massacre Christians. In the end, a pox on all their house.
