That picture was actually on his official House.gov website and if you clicked a link right below it (or maybe the picture itself) it would play an audio clip of him saying “beam me up.”

Yep, my all time fave democrat, too.

His one minute “beam my up” speeches were killer.

RIP, Jim Traficant.

I really believe he was set up. He pissed a lot of his peers off very regularly. Youngstown, OH is one of the most corrupt cities on the planet. I believe the Establishment RATS called in some favors from their buddies in Mahoning County to pin something on him.

James Traficant was once the Sheriff of Mahoning County. I am certain he stepped on a lot of toes while in this office as well. I don’t doubt that there were numerous criminal elements in the area who helped to bring him down.

Understood. My stomping grounds is Chicago, capiche? Politics are dirtier here than....just about anywhere. He had balls, I grant you that. But they’re all miserable ba$tards, both parties, primarily democrats. Maybe one day, after the system collapses, it can go back to what it should have remained, limited government, limited power, limited corruption. I won’t hold my breath though.

I agreed with him more than many ‘conservative’ republicans of today. But , he pissed off the wrong people.
