There has been at least one case where the guy video recorded the evening, and his lawyer informed the woman's side that the video showed that consent was obtained, and that if it came to trial the video would be evidence and subsequently be publicly available. The case was dropped.
It's a tactic I recommend to all guys (in states with one-party recording consent laws).
