White couple sues, says sperm bank gave vials from black donor By Meredith Rodriguez, Tribune reporter contact the reporter
A white Ohio woman is suing a Downers Grove-based sperm bank, alleging that the company mistakenly gave her vials from an African-American donor, a fact that she said has made it difficult for her and her same-sex partner to raise their now 2-year-old daughter in an all-white community.
Jennifer Cramblett of Uniontown, Ohio, alleges in the lawsuit filed Monday in Cook County Circuit Court, that Midwest Sperm Bank sent her the vials of an African American donor's sperm in September 2011 instead of those of a white donor that she and her white partner had ordered.
After searching through pages of comprehensive histories for their top three donors, the lawsuit claims, Cramblett and her domestic partner, Amanda Zinkon, chose donor No. 380, who was also white. Their doctor in Ohio received vials from donor No. 330, who is African-American, the lawsuit said.
Cramblett, 36, learned of the mistake in April 2012, when she was pregnant and ordering more vials so that the couple could have another child with sperm from the same donor, according to the lawsuit.

Yes, that was a Maryland MORBIDLY OBESE fertility doctor. His lies & fraud resulted in a large number of children. Most of these children turned out to grow morbidly obese also. Had one of my family members been one of his victims, he may well have been shot to death by an “unknown assailant”.
She’d better not complain too loudly or the socialists in power will sue her for being ungrateful concerning the diversity bestowed upon her!

As I understand it, the “vials” are identified by unique identifiers and referral to records associated with the vial’s unique identifier will reveal the donor and his “characteristics” such as age, eye & hair color, race, IQ, biography.
reminds me of Me, Myself, and Irene movie where Jim Carey’s friends wife has an affair with a black midget and gives birth to 3 black triplets.

10 to 1 these folks were jerks and some one at the clinic decided to take revenge.
I remember there was an X-Files episode based on stuff like that. The janitor at the clinic was replacing the supply with his own “special sauce”. They figured it out because all the children were being born with tails, a rare genetic mutation that the janitor was born with.
Well, she won't be able to claim parthenogenesis, will she?

i believe the doctor you are referring to was a Dr.Cecil Jacobson, who ran a Reproductive Genetics Center in Fairfax VIRGINIA.
