Liberian government officials have identified the patient who brought the Ebola virus to the United States as Thomas Eric Duncan. Duncan lives in Monrovia and is said to be in his mid-forties. Duncan is the first person to bring an undiagnosed case of Ebola to the United States.
Duncan had direct contact with an Ebola patient in Liberia shortly before his departure to the United States according to a report on Wednesday in the New York Times by Norimitsu Onishi. Duncan helped to carry a pregnant woman who was near death from the Ebola virus back to her home after the family was refused treatment by hospital officials because of overcrowding in their Ebola treatment ward.
This occurred on September 15th and the Ebola patient died later that night at 3 a.m.
He was holding her by the legs, the pa was holding her arms and Sonny Boy was holding her back, said Arren Seyou, 31, who witnessed the scene and occupies the room next to Mr. Duncans. Sonny Boy also became sick about the same time Duncan became symptomatic in Dallas. Sammy Boy died in route to the hospital where he was headed for treatment.
Breitbart Texas reported that the man we now know as Duncan left Liberia on September 19th and arrived in the United States on September 20th. He was not admitted to the hospital in Dallas until September 28th.
The Times report states that at least four people have now died from contracting the virus after making contact with the single pregnant woman who later died from her illness. This illustrates how quickly this disease can spread and how lethal it can be.

WTF are these people being allowed to travel?!!?
900! Wow!
“far too fearful of black backlash” is more like it..
I do not understand why our government has not shut down any travel to and from western Africa until the virus is contained. This just doesn't make any sense! You can bet many more are going to flock to the US for treatment, and they are not going to be honest about where they were are where they have been....
You do not trust the Centers for Disease Creation??
Shocked am I!
And infect my loved ones and others? No, I would not.
Health concerns -- especially concern if not outright fear for the health and well-being of American children -- will bring a quick end to the travesty of "open borders" -- faster than national security concerns, faster than concern for upholding the law, faster than anything else.
Because he had to have known. The woman died that night. Within a week he has hopped a plane for the states.
Easy solution: Quarantine !!!!!!!
When do the Muslims start smuggling in all the infectious waste and clothing turning up in Africa?
I’m sure millions will be paying close attention to this.

He flew United.
The one airline that uses Fantastik! for cleaning (which doesn’t kill germs at all).
Five Dallas ISD students in contact with Ebola patient now monitored
Five Dallas school-aged children who had contact with a man diagnosed with Ebola are being monitored.
Gov. Rick Perry said health officials learned Wednesday that the children have been identified as having contact with the man.
Dallas ISD students in contact with the Ebola patient attended: Hotchkiss ES, Dan D. Rogers ES, Tasby MS and Conrad HS. Jack Lowe ES is being watched because it’s adjacent to Tasby.
The students were in school earlier this week, but are now at home and being monitored.

Dallas ISD said in statement on its website it will “operate schools on a normal schedule” Thursday and “students are encouraged to attend”

Of course he knew. He came here on purpose and has exposed the whole US to ebola.
“The Times report states that at least four people have now died from contracting the virus after making contact with the single pregnant woman who later died from her illness. This illustrates how quickly this disease can spread and how lethal it can be.”
And how ignorant people can be...even when they have access to the facts.
Oh yes, you really do understand. You just don’t want to think it.
When we started flying infected in and treating them, many here said that the next logical progression would be an influx of infected people trying like mad to make it into the US.
And we have people hear saying that is a good thing since we get to try out our bioterrorism response and prove that we are not afraid.
If Liberia were a predominantly white country you can bet there’d be airport quarantines going on like crazy AND NOBODY WOULD BE PROTESTING IT, EITHER. But, since blacks are involved you have to let them fly for the sake of not appearing ‘racist’...
No question this SOB knew he was infected to at least was very likely infected.
What an @sshole.
He knew he was exposed...and he still hopped his butt on an airplane to the US...
...and didn’t tell anyone, until his symptoms got bad.
