That thought has crossed my mind. Exposed to Ebola, get somewhere where you will receive treatment.

This crap about how hard it is to catch is merely to placate us.

I have read the medical studies for about two months. It isn't crap, it is a fragile virus unless in liquid or frozen. I am not worried about incidental touching like what might be the case in Dallas (although we don't know yet). I am worried about 100 more like him. I am worried about terrorists who are not infected and pass screening.

I must remind you of the total ignorance here in the US. Lo Info voters are ignorant. Ever watch Jesse Waters interviewing the morons?

You would be better off worrying about what you said and also never believing the BS being touted now. Ebola can mutate at any time.

Yep, which is why they elected bozo and support him even though he is trying to kill us. But with enough deaths of innocents that will change (Dem revolt at the very least). The ignorance does not extend to those fighting the disease, and I have faith they will trace it and stop it each time some diseased person enters.

Ebola can mutate at any time.

And it did in Reston and became airborne and nonlethal for humans. So there are many possibilities but mutation here is not a very likely one. That will happen in Africa and if it is a bad mutation (unlikely) it will be very noticeable, thousands dead in days, then no more (it will burn out).

Even ambient humidity is enough to keep the sputum-enclosed virons viable for a few days.

“Why do I have the feeling the guy KNEW he had been exposed to Ebola, and wanted to get to the states for care??”

BINGO!! We have a winner!

Yeah, I don’t doubt it is viable when it is humid, but this is much more difficult vector than the vast majority of cases in Africa with known direct contact person to person.

it’s probably true that because of their fear of backlash, authorities won’t ask these questions. BUT, who stands most to be affected by exposure to an Ebola carrier coming from those African countries? Those in the black community.

From what I can glean from the limited info out there, Duncan didn’t go to any “lily-white suburb” but to a very diverse inner city neighborhood where he exposed minorities of all ages. So who are the authorities trying to save? If anyone? Their fear could kill thousands, tens of thousand, untold numbers of people of all races, ages, and both genders.
