These Liberians seem to have “family” all over the country. They are everywhere and seem to continue to be imported into the U.S. in great numbers.

Liberians WERE imported into the United States in great numbers.

The country was founded by freed American slaves, the Capital is named after US President James Monroe and there have been close ties between our two countries for the last 150 years or so. There are hundreds of thousands of dual Liberian-American citizens in both countries.
