Why did Netanyahu even go to the White House? Indeed. Obama should be simply ignored. Its what every other world leader has figured out. Of course, Israel must keep up the pretense of respect and good relations.
What bothers me is - how did we ever get to the point where the USA feels it must micro-manage every Palestinian-Israel conflict and issue, to the point that the leader of the free world feels it necessary to discuss details of every housing development on the West Bank?? Its not just Obama - every President since Carter has played this stupid game. Its insane - and no resolution will ever come of it.

Good question. Ben certainly understands that Obama merely uses Netenyahu as a mere political photo op to keep that Jewish campaign cash flowing. In this manner, Jews are freed from guilt by seeing such photos and open up their checkbooks even though they intuitively know Obama is against the Jewish state.
