His actions are a pretty strong indication that he knew he had been exposed and jumped onto a plane to get to America where he had the best chance to stay alive. He made a mistake, which is understandable in the circumstance, when he did not tell the ER personnel that he was from Liberia and had been closely exposed to Ebola. I understand his actions entirely . I fault the USA government for not closing the Liberian airports as soon as Ebola was known.

I judged the entire article by the following:

“Did Thomas Eric Duncan know he might have possibly been exposed to Ebola in Liberia? Should he have been more aware of the potential dangers of Ebola and the potential for spreading the disease to others?”

Let’s see, Eric Duncan flew out of Monrovia, Liberia where Ebola has been running unchecked for how many weeks?

Let’s see, Eric Duncan had lived in Monrovia, Liberia where dead bodies of Ebola victims are routinely found on the city’s streets.

Lets see, Eric Duncan had physically carried a woman stricken with Ebola to and from a hospital’s maternity AND Ebola wards. She was refused admission to the Ebola ward because it was full.

From those three documented statements there is no doubt in my mind that Eric Duncan knew he was exposed to Ebola before he boarded the flight to Brussels. He also had, from personal observation, an idea as to serious an Ebola infection was and could be.

Why display your own stupidity and heard mentality by asking questions that have already been answered?
