In the past, there has been one “moderate” candidate and multiple “conservative” candidates. This has allowed the so-called “moderate” to dominate in the primaries.

I would not mind if more “moderates” were in the primaries with one solid conservative. Split the RINO vote and allow the conservative to emerge victorious.

If there is one thing that the GOPe/Rove-et-al do extremely well (besides losing), it is having the discipline to field a limited set of RINO(s) at a time, and having the an on-deck batter waiting for the current one to strikeout. OTOH, the GOPtp has a unique way of putting candidates on the field - 20 at a time run onto the field, most of them trying to stand at the same time on the pitcher's mound.
