FUBAR.

No kidding. The details of this story keep getting weirder and weirder all the time.

Now they're saying that Duncan's wife/girlfriend/significant other/ex traveled with him from Liberia to Texas. First time I've seen that reported.

I know that she's been quarantined with her 13 year old and two 20 year old nephews, but what about her other three (or is it four?) children? Reportedly, they also came into contact with Duncan. Where are they? Are they under quarantine too, and if so, why isn't the press talking about them?

And why do her kids attend four (or is it five?) different local schools?

The more and more stuff comes out, the more we should see we're no where near prepared for this.

Government bureaucrat run "smoke and mirrors" preparedness ain't going to get it.

The details keep coming out. Last I read Louise has a grown daughter who has four children that Louise babysits for sometimes. The daughter is the one who called for an ambulance for Duncan. The daughter, her boyfriend and their four children are "semi"-quarantined elsewhere. For quarantined relatives in U.S. Ebola case, extra cautions, hope and prayer

So the five children are 13 year old son of Louise and four of her grandchildren age 2 to 11. The four people quarantined in Louise's apartment are her, her son, another relative and his friend.

Those 4 or 5 children belong to the partner/wife/girlfriend’s 30 year old daughter. They went to school but were sent home when someone realized they were supposed to be quarantined.

I read that the girlfriend/wife/partner was in Liberia in August and also according to her Facebook page she lives in some Central American country. They all probably came across the border with the unaccompanied minors.

If any of them get sick and survive we’re going to see thousands of Africans sneaking into this country.

We are so screwed.

No, she didn’t. The Liberian president would have said so. The airlines would have said so. Her family would have said so. She and her family have said repeatedly he was coming to see her. She has a job as some sort of home health care attendant or something (yeah, great, huh) so it’s not like she had time to go globe hopping. His friends and neighbors in Liberia never mentioned her being in Liberia. And as much as the CDC lies, this is one thing that would have slipped out. So, no, she never went anywhere.
