SURGERY
It is not necessarily surgery but the underlying condition that precipitated the surgery that requires evaluation before donation. Evaluation is on a case by case basis. You should discuss your particular situation with the health historian at the time of donation.
My brother got his finger bite off in a fight, so maybe that qualifies for a "no."
My bet is they are looking at underlying systemic disease that might cause loss of digits. Say: Hansen’s Disease, meningitis or diabetic gangrene. I can’t see any way a traumatic amputation would impact blood donation. My husband lost his to a lawnmower blade.
They haven't been able to import illegal voters fast enough, so they need to start killing off more old, white conservatives. Utopia is so close, Comrade! :)
Now, if they do that, I would be willing to let them donate. Then we’ll see how much of a difference it makes. Unfortunately, GLAAD, HRC, & other sodomite organizations will raise a stink.
Do they block lesbians from giving blood?
