Shoot, until this they were still quibbling over the set up of the tables for the ceasefire talks from the Korean War, weren’t they?
-— North Korea and South Korea are about to have high level talks. Check it out, -—
Wow!
Colonel Mustard in the library with a candlestick.
pretty much
Didn’t they dump the official cease-fire a few months ago and threaten to restart the war?
Now #2 is in South Korea?
Something definitely happened.
Maybe it has something to do with all the squabbling they have been having with China. Has the pressure from China finally had an effect?

China’s pressure is really pushing them hard.
Hopefully they won’t just beg for food and cash.

How are they pressuring NK, considering that they’re already living on a grass diet?
did you not see #84?
Those are all headlines from this year. Relations between China and NK are bad. China has been subsidizing NK for many years and now the Pyongyang elites are finding life very difficult.
Dennis Rodman is now in charge
That is hilarious.
China does not want a flourishing capitalistic country on its border. They may be willing to let the Kim dynasty lose power, but they would probably insist that Korea remain divided, with a more mainstream Communist regime in power in the North, perhaps modeled on its own regime.
Your memory of the 10 struggling years after unification are different than mine. Even today the economy of old east / west are different. The old east is a drain on the old west. Communism and communist ideology doest end in a year. It takes generations. It has taken years of slow steps to get us as socialistic as we are.
Click on my screen name and look for the thread from the overnite....we discussed it.
October surprise. Obama is going to take credit!
Actually he does. He did some top secret state department stuff back in the day.
Probably did not get the details, but I am sure he got “wind of something.”
Unless Obama admits to assassinating the short fat kid, I am not sure where could take credit for any of this.
Well, he might not, but his sycophants in the media will make tenuous connection that behind the scenes the administration was working to that end...of course with no proof
Look at his decorations......
Blue (top rows) 5
Green (mid rows) 5
Red (bottom rows) 6
Rather than stars or oakleaves, the recipient recieves a new identical decoration. That is decoration creep to be sure the chest is covered in glory
(from my post earlier today but it seems to prove your point)
The press would say that NK collapsed under the O administration.
