"The Vice-Presidency is not worth a bucket of warm piss"
- Vice-President John Nance Garner
Garner with Governor Roosevelt and Kansas Governor Harry Woodring in September 1932.
(For many years, this quote was euphemized as "warm spit".)

On a side note my grandfather grew up with Garner in Detroit, Texas. One family story is they used to steal chickens and then barbeque them at parties with their girlfriends.
