Why do we need a czar for something that will never make it to our shores and isn’t that catchy in the first place?

Wait til one of Obola’s kids or family starts hacking and wheezing. The rules will change then..

The solution is simple. Stop the incoming of any non-citizens. Quarantine any incoming citizens who have been to countries where Ebola is identified as a crisis.

The Congress should pass this by overwhelming majorities and order the executive branch to begin enforcing this law immediately.

The halting of incoming non-citizens could be passed...the quarantine idea might not fly.

But we don't need a new czar. We need the federal government to protect the borders. Part of that is, I would think, being CERTAIN any non-citizen entering is free of disease.

How about asking the person whose responsibility it actually is to do his or her job?

That is the problem. Some are saying Governor Perry. Some are saying President Obama. Some are saying Congress because they have yet to confirm the CDC person that has not been in office since 2009. Some are saying the Mayors of the Cities. Some are saying the Hospital Administrators. Some are saying Congress because they cut 10 million from the Center of Disease and Control Department and not enough money to accomplish such task. Some are saying Homeland Security due to not stoping them at the airport. So much blame but nobody has an accurate answer to who is responsible.

Cute. We do not have a Surgeon General. The position has been blocked and not voted on in Congress, but you knew that. That is one reason why this is a mess. Not that I am all the concerned about this but it really doesn’t look good on Congress.

I would rather see Governors and Mayors and department heads evaluated.

Congress does not have to rubber stamp every idiot Obama appoints. That’s why many require approval. It’s up to Obama to put forth an acceptable, qualified candidate.

There are plenty of existing other bureaucrats who could be charged with this role, despite that.

Rep. Jack Kingston, R-Ga., said Saturday that while he "hate[s] to invoke the term 'czar,'" President Obama needs one to combat the spread of the deadly Ebola virus.

No he doesn't.

He just has to WANT to STOP Ebola.

He already, as President, has all the tools he needs.

Because an extra layer of bureaucracy always makes government more efficient.

And Obama always chooses the best person for the job - if a far-Left boot-licker is the best one, he finds that person.

I have a better idea. How about asking the person whose responsibility it actually is to do his or her job?

Funny, I thought the exact same thing, then I realized it entirely depends on their job description...

Since most of the job descriptions in this administration seem to be either:
1. CYA Obama
2. Destroy the pillars of the country.

I'm going with whoever is responsible will be getting a nice bonus...!

YES. We need a person in charge of PROTECTING AMERICANS from Ebola. Anthony Fauci’s not up to that job.

Simply brilliant.  Why didn't I think of that?  /s

Is this guy nuts?  It would give Obama cover to do whatever he wanted.  This guy could come up with all sorts of nutty ideas, and Obama could enact them with his "Holy Islamic Quill Pen", and claim he was only following the experts.

NO!

NO!

NO!

NO!

NO!

NO!

NO!

NO!

Just imagine the type of person he would appoint.  Yikes!
