Sounds like they swooped in and absolutely shut it down completely, wherever this person had been, movie grade response. Hope it’s just abundance of caution and determination not to repeat the Keystone Cops of Dallas, but I agree, it sounds airborne from what little has been reported.
Could it be something else? Chemical/Radiation/Anthrax? I too hope it’s just an abundance of caution whatever it is.
