This is very clever....

In a deep ‘red’ state where the republicans have won for generations, instead of running as a democrat, just dress the democrat up as an “independent” and win.

I can’t BELIEVE the voters of Kansas are so stupid that they would fall for this obvious ploy. Do they have any mechanisms for recalling Senators? I’m SURE they won’t like it a bit once he gets into the Senate, caucuses with Harry Reid and is a rubber stamp for 0-Tard’s agenda.

I can’t criticize the people of Kansas TOO much, because I’m from Virgina, which has become so tainted by the Federal monster, we’re beyond hope. We have McAwful as a governor, two dem Senators that would probably sleep with 0bama if he asked them to, and my state went to 0bama TWICE!!! /cry (that’s a TERRIBLE resume of late)

We can survive a Rat senate, but a Rat house would be curtains for the country.
We need to bite the bullet again and vote for the lesser of two weevils.
We cannot sit out the vote..the country hangs in the balance and unless we are willing to stage and armed revolt our only option is to vote.

Senator Roberts was severely damaged during the primary by his tea party opponent.

The CBS poll shows the race tied. So, which one are you going to believe? My advice, neither. I think that the polls are baloney, but Roberts is certainly in trouble. The problem is, he is doing very little about it. He apparently doesn’t like to campaign and can’t be made to do it.

The result is likely to be a win by a flaming liberal who claims to be an Independent.

It is really hard to believe what is going on here since the left is pulling out all the stops in order to try to get that flaming liberal over the line. My friends and I will do our best to keep this a conservative seat.

It will be tight but as a new resident of the state I am very impressed by motivation in Waukesha and Jefferson County for Walker

The GOPe is squandering the best chance they have had in a decade by not even running a real campaign, they have no theme except to support amnesty and bash conservatives.

Gee, how did that not work??

Good luck getting out the vote, the GOP is exciting nobody, nobody is enthusiastic to cast a vote for the Republican Party this year.

GOTV is meaningless when people would shrug and find something else to do.

The GOPe & Rove et al have done their job - antagonize and deflate their party’s base to make way for a real Democrat

Remember Doug Hoffman NY-23?

The GOP left Hoffman hanging in the wind.

Yep and Cucinnelli (sic) in Virginia, and that guy who beat Cantor in the primary this year and what they did to Daniels in Miss was not an isolated incident. They did just as bad to candidates for Gov and Senate in Mass.

Pat Roberts is a RINO?

Delusional city.

Roberts is 3rd ranked Senator behind only Lee and Cruz. By Heritage.

A+ ranking by NRA.

Top 5 by ACU - 89% score during Obama years.

Etc.

Pat Roberts is hardly the problem in DC.

Senator Roberts was severely damaged in the primary by Senator Roberts, Wolf barely laid a hand on him. Roberts has continued being his own worst enemy in the General Election campaign.
