I hear you loud and clear!

I don’t know enough about Naomi Wolf to comment on her writings but the term “conspiracy theory” is like “decimate”, very few people have ever thought about what it really means, it has become just a “hot button” term. Briefly, a conspiracy theory is just the belief that some action must have been agreed upon by TWO OR MORE people. There is an old song titled “Winter Wonderland” containing the line, “later on we’ll CONSPIRE, as we dream by the fire, to face unafraid the plans that we made, walking in a winter wonderland.” It is about a man and a woman CONSPIRING to be married. The idea that someone has to be a nutcase to believe in a conspiracy theory is just something invented to keep people from thinking clearly.

Some wise person and I’m sorry I can’t remember the name once said that the history of the world is the history of conspiracy, anyone who knows history knows the truth of this but those who scorn “conspiracy theories” usually know almost nothing of history.

However: Then, too, was Sandy Hook, Columbine, and the Aurora Theater shootings.... all to garner support for gun control.
