Actually, Spanish hospitals are pretty good... if they’re private hospitals. Spanish general hospitals are like county or state general hospitals anywhere, that is, overcrowded and nearly useless.

I’m surprised that University Hospital was so bad, though. They’re actually a leading research hospital, but of course, that may not go all the way down the line.

I thought so too... which is why I ended up sending her to the Univeristy Hospital -_-
They put her in an obstetrics room at the time... we are guessing because they were very busy, but even the physician who attended to her was confused why she was in stirrups for a shin gash. While Madrid has become a bit third world for my taste, Barcelona I thought would have been comp to Germany. We don’t know why, but they refused her antibiotics... Europe tends to be a bit paranoid regarding the overuse of antibiotics... which I understand..but if you cut yourself on a public escalator, one would think they’d see the necessity.
