I never heard a peep about scientific studies before pot was legalized.
The studies were not completed, the twenty years just about coincided with the legalization. That doesn’t mean that authorities didn’t know the truth, though. The government had already been funding work in neuroscience to help ameliorate the damage done to the cognitive abilities of teen by army marijuana use.
What isn’t clear is why no work has been done to set limits on on the levels of the drug that that qualifies as under the influence. Large companies, which value safety, maintain a zero tolerance for marijuana use. Some even require a hair sample for the pre-employment physical.
That does not apply to this site.
I’ve posted evidence and the stoners came out in force.
Prolonged marijuana use causes severe brain damage, just like alcohol and heroin use.
They are not out of line with the claims in the study. I would particularly emphasize the issue of dependency. Almost every pot smoker I have ever known had to smoke multiple times a day.
