early voting is far better than absentee voting.
early voting means there is an actual person there checking IDs.
Absentee voting has no such checks.
Early voting should only be on Monday through Saturday and never on a sunday.

Actually absentee voting has a number of checks, at least in our county where I serve as an election judge. The request gets checked against the voter registration list before the ballot is mailed out. It gets checked again when it comes back and is distributed to the precinct where it is to be counted.
It gets checked a third time when the polls close and before the precinct election team opens them up to tabulate them with the precinct results. I don't know how it works elsewhere, but it is not a good place to try any funny business here in Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania.
