Motorcyclist who jumped nude from cliff reportedly swerved to avoid turkey

I’ve literally watched a Turkey fly into a moving motorcycle and take the rider right out of the seat. Having been hit in the forehead with a june bug while doing about 40, I wouldn’t want to be the rider catching a 10-20 pound turkey in the face. No way could you stay up...and even if the turkey was suicidal enough to stay on the ground while a motorcycle was coming at it, hitting it would cause a lot of riders to dump the bike.

I’m reminded of a cartoon I saw once where a group of squirrels or something was on the side of the road and they were having one race across the road, ranking the mayhem they caused.

In all seriousness, head injuries are no laughing matter. People are unpredictable when exposed to g-forces on the head, with or without external evidence of injury. This is a perfect example. He folded his clothes during his ‘blackout’ episode, for pete’s sake. Wild that he survived the fall off a 40ft cliff with minor injuries. Lucky guy. (seriousness ‘off)
