Texas Health Presbyterian released a statement Wednesday afternoon, saying:
Texas Health Presbyterian Dallas can confirm today that a patient has been admitted to the Emergency Room after reporting possible exposure to the Ebola virus. Right now, there are more questions than answers about this case. Our professional staff of nurses and doctors is prepared to examine the patient, discuss any findings with appropriate agencies and officials. We are on alert with precautions and systems in place. At the same time, we are caring for routine cases which are completely separate in operations.
Consider that picture stolen my “Native American” FRiend!
I favor playing the “knockout game” with every politician who supports open borders.
It was announced last week that Duncan died. Then they changed the story. Now he’s dead again. I believe he died last week but they wanted to keep it quiet. Knowing it would come out eventually they went ahead and announced it.
My wife was in the dentist chair this morning and another dentist came and said there was a patient being quarantined in Cypress, Texas NW of Houston. I haven’t been able to confirm it.
Don’t worry. Obama said Ebola will never come to America. We’re good.
Not to worry, Obama will think about this after a few rounds of Golf.
How did he catch Ebola? He went to serve papers.
I thought it was “hard to catch.”
Patient isolated at North Cypress Medical Center as precaution
HARRIS COUNTY A patient is in isolation at a northwest Harris County hospital, but the hospital said it's highly unlikely he has Ebola.
The patient went to North Cypress Medical Center Monday because he wasn't feeling well.
He is being kept away from other patients as a precaution because he has traveled recently. The hospital isn't saying where he traveled.
"He is considered to be of extremely low risk to the Ebola virus," a hospital spokesperson said in a written statement. "The patient is in stable condition and is showing no signs of a fever."
The hospital has been in contact with the CDC and the Harris County Health Department.
The Harris County Health Department said they have tested two other people for Ebola. The first patient tested negative twice and the second one tested positive for malaria.
The guy came in on a flight from Belgium.
So the guy does not have the symptoms, anymore, and they sent him home. Sounds like another Duncan.
This hospital is about 4 miles from my house.
Are you nuts? Business or vacation? Finding an excuse not to go shouldn’t be too hard.
Yes. I was responding to your point re: banning flights from affected nations. Just noting that that alone isn’t going to accomplish much (there aren’t any/many direct flights from there to here). Need to focus on passengers, travel histories, etc; not just where the flight took off.
Yep - I said the exact same thing a week ago. Or how about norovirus, when everyone takes their fall/winter cruise, the whole ship upchucks, and they bring it back as a souvenir. No kidding - I’m tempted to buy enough food for the next six months and not leave my house.
Oh man. Innocents will die because of Duncan’s selfishness....
There’s a reason most of Africa is stuck somewhere in the 8th century: the people.
