"... is not showing symptoms?"

I keep on hearing about ebola incubation periods of 20(?) days. And I don't know how many days it has been since the late Mr. Duncan's family was possibly exposed. But respectfully, how do you know if the family is showing symptoms or not showing symptoms since facts about the spread of ebola in USA reek with so-called Obama-type "transparency?"

12 - 15 days before symptoms appear. 21-23 days before death.

Sep 15 - close contact with female victim
Sep 24 - mildly symptomatic (abdominal pain/mild fever -hospital visit “after 10pm” Sep 25) (9 days)
Sep 28 - fully symptomatic ( 911-call). (12 days)
Oct 8 - Deceased in spite of experimental drugs and best efforts. (22 days from close contact)
