HOUSTON, Texas -- On Monday Texas Governor Rick Perry dismissed the notion that a travel ban from Ebola-afflicted nations would be an effective step to prevent a viral outbreak in the United States. Perry's comments echo those of the Obama Administration; over the past week the CDC has repeatedly refused to support banning flights from countries affected by Ebola.

Nah Ebola isn’t an issue now. If Rick is cool with it than it’s a good idea. In fact, I’m sure his sycophants will be along shortly with their latest excuse for his liberalism.
Of course, sane freepers may want to now accept the reality that Perry’s supporters are as leftist as he is because this insanity has no possible excuse and treat them with the respect they deserve..

As much as I try to like him, Perry just doesn’t get it.

Yup. Political Correctness is the death of Nation.
But we already knew that.
It seems that there is a large segment of people - particularly in the Government, Media, and Academia classes - that would rather die (and take everyone down with them) than to be thought of as intolerant, or bigoted.

Someone’s going to have to come up with some cash before Perry does anything.

If they stop the people wanting to fly in, they have to totally shut down the border and Texas politicians, as well as those in DC, do not want to do that. We have a whole lot of other bad crap and people coming impeded across the border. It’s beyond lunacy.

He is off my voting list for 2016. It’s sad that so many of the formerly normal politicians are now selling themselves to the GOP-e in hopes of winning an election.
