The important thing in this election is to stop the Democrats cold. Period. That’s job one. I don’t think this country can survive even another couple of years of Democrat “leadership.” Job two is getting the RINOs in line. That’s important, but not as important at the moment as job one.
With the implication that we put Republicans in place? Why? What will they do that will functionally be any different than Democrats?
Now Libertarians or Constitution Party I could imagine being different, Republicans (after their history), not so much.
And you think we can 'get them in line' by voting them into office?
In our system, you can only vote FOR someone. Doing so, is a positive affirmation of your agreement with, and approval of, said candidate.
The mere act of voting someone into office sends a message of tacit approval of their political agenda. You wouldn't have voted for them if you disagreed with them, right?
Understand that continuing to vote for those you vehemently disagree with, will only cause the party to raise up more of the same sorts of candidates for you to vote for.
The one and only thing that communicates to the political class is votes. Withdraw your vote and they'll soon figure out some way to get it so they can win. Withdrawing our votes will eventually cause them to realize that we're dead serious about not supporting those politicians who don't support the people's vision of America.
It's the only way we'll ever force change upon the political class.
