If you had a container of blood from an Ebola victim, how long would the virus survive before the blood could be sprayed over a crowd?

I would imagine a carrier wearing a boom vest would splatter in many directions, covering a crowd with slime.

CDC says it can survive outside the body for 6 days. It lives in blood anyway, so it seems like it should be able to survive indefinitely in a blood sample.
