I moved to the People’s Republic of Charlottesville (VA) about 2 years ago. A British girl (student) was kidnapped here and is presumed dead. They have the guy who did it in custody, but instead of sweating out of him where he hid the body, they wear orange ribbons at football games in “support”. They are scouring a ridiculously huge area of land looking for her body, when all they would have to do is give me 15 minutes with this guy. Books can (and probably will) be written about how this situation encompasses nearly every bad characteristic of human nature. I could document one...cowardess, and how pathetic these people are. I want to move!

Who is “they”? The cops have him and I’m sure they are questioning him everyday. If the silly college students want to remember Heather at the game that’s their affair. The 50s are over. You can’t beat a confession out of a prisoner anymore especially not in a high profile case like this one. If everything works out Virginia may be able to close the books on gibe murders.Every procedure needs to be done slow and done right.

Less and less, there is no where to move to, my friend.

It is the same story everywhere, even in places like Montana, Lincoln, NE, Idaho, the Dakotas.

Any place that ends up building a town that is large enough for a coffee shop and a breakfast spot is eventually invested with libs who then change the world upside-down. Almost always using the courts and cops to enforce their strange ways over the local population.

For some reasons cops love being the attack dogs of radical judges.

Are you talking about Hannah? How disappointing that the student body is wearing ribbons in support of her accused kidnapper! It remindes me of those idjit students in (Baltimore?) who invited a convicted cop killer to be their graduation speaker!

Try living in Massachusetts.

When I retire, I’d like to move. I’m thinking Texas, but I’m afraid it’ll be overrun in ten years.

Also, they think he killed more than one girl, so he is probably going to get the death penalty. They might make a deal with him to find the body and clean up all of the cold cases, but he doesn’t come clean, they are going to charge him with every missing white girl in the state.
