I’m sure they’d be kicked out as “lacking standing”,

but someone needs to sue the state with the claim that their vote was cancelled because someone else cast a fraudulent vote.

Just one proven fraudulent vote would do it - that vote cancelled another vote and disenfranchised a legitimate voter.

Elections have consequences.

Texas has one of the strictest voter ID laws in the country, and voting rights groups challenged it as discriminatory. Last night, District Court Judge Nelva Gonzales Ramos agreed. In a strongly worded opinion, she said the law discriminated against the state's Hispanic and African American voters, because they're less likely to have the required government-issued photo ID, and could have a more difficult time getting one. She said that the law effectively imposed a poll tax because some voters would have to pay to get documents — such as a birth certificate — needed to get a photo ID. Perhaps more importantly, she found that the state enacted the law with the intention of discriminating against voters.

On January 26, 2011, President Barack Obama nominated Ramos to replace Judge Hayden Head.

Another Leftist Mexican judge, appointed by Obama, heaping the Democrats try to “turn Texas blue.” And by the way, she was supported by TX Sen. John Cornyn, the fraud now running for re-election.

That’s why we are skipping that federal slot on the ballot, and only voting for conservatives running in down-ballot state offices.

We will never vote for a RINO like Cornyn.

Source: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nelva_Gonzales_Ramos

"During the 111th Congress, Ramos was one of three candidates recommended by Democrats from the Texas House delegation for a Corpus Christi vacancy on the United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas.[4] Ramos was the only candidate also supported by Republican Senators Kay Bailey Hutchison and John Cornyn.[3] On January 26, 2011, President Barack Obama nominated Ramos to replace Judge Hayden Head.[3]"

KBH and John Cornyn are disgraceful.

Oh really?! Judge "I am clearly hispanic and identify only as hispanic and not as an objective American enforcing constitutional law" Hernandez-Ramos ruled this way? YOU DON'T SAY?!!? Wow, what a surprise. Are we Americans ever going to govern ourselves again, or are we just going to let every Sonia, Juan, Carols, and Maria, who comes here rule over us as lords?

"Gonzales Ramos’ ruling says the law “creates an unconstitutional burden on the right to vote, has an impermissible discriminatory effect against Hispanics and African-Americans, and was imposed with an unconstitutional discriminatory purpose.”

Indeed, what are the far reaching implications of this stupidity? It is now discriminatory "against Hispanics and African-Americans" to require a photo ID when buying alcohol or cigarettes, driving a motor vehicle, applying for food stamps, renting a hotel room, purchasing medication, giving blood, and flying across state borders. Truly, an idiotic ruling. It's time to tell black robed tyrants to shove it.

In many places you need ID to buy spray paint or cold medicine as well.

Or to get into a union meeting.

Perhaps the AG should follow federal guidelines from AG Holder and enforce the law as he feels best represents the Constitution.

So we have voter ID in deep blue Connecticut.

Why is voter ID wrong in Texas and Wisconsin, but ok in Connecticut?

Yet Obamacare requires an official ID, and I am required to purchase a product that requires ID.....

If a voter does not have ID, then they ARE breaking the Obamacare law....but hey, don’t let facts get in the way of.

An attack on the integrity of the ballot is an attack on the electoral integrity of the United States.

All officers of government in this country swear an oath that includes opposition to all enemies of the United States, foreign AND domestic.

If judges like this are not domestic enemies, there is no such animal.

I think I’ll go to the nearest gun store to make a purchase. When they ask me for ID I will tell them I don’t have to provide it as it would “suppress my right to keep and bear arms.

Same for the next time I buy alcohol.

as the state’s latest means of suppressing minority turnout.

Why is it that Liberals claim this as fact but have NEVER been able to explain their train of thought that brings them to this conclusion? And why has no one asked?

I want only ONE of them to explain the mechanism by which ONLY minority voters are affected by having to present an ID before voting. Just one. A simple request.

Well, the court has pretty much come out and said that elections aren’t important enough for us to take reasonable precautions to prevent fraud. I think that’s a pretty telling idea. It’s also probably uncomfortably close to the actual truth.
