Militants from the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) could turn themselves into Ebola “suicide bombers” against the Western world, terrorism experts have warned.
ISIS or other terrorist groups could simply dispatch individuals to Ebola-infected areas in West Africa where they would intentionally infect themselves and then spread the virus through the world’s air transportation network.
Capt. Al Shimkus, a professor of national security affairs at the U.S. Naval War College, said the scenario was plausible.
“The individual exposed to the Ebola virus would be the carrier,” Shimkus told Forbes.
“In the context of terrorist activity, it doesn’t take much sophistication to go to that next step to use a human being as a carrier,” he added.
Professor Anthony Glees, director at Buckingham University’s Center for Security and Intelligence Studies, also warned that terrorists may consider such a plan.

A few hundred cases would swamp our healthcare system. That is all you would need to accomplish.....
A job at a fast food joint would offer possibilities. This is something our law enforcement and health services need to be thinking about.
That would actually be less effective. By the time they became symptomatic, they could hardly stand up.
there are many ways to do this. Describing them in an online forum is not a productive use of the medium. Not that they haven’t already considered all of the options.

Ebola victims carry viable virus particles for at least a week before becoming symptomatic. They are normally less infectious at this stage because they are not shedding large quantities of virus naturally. Also, normally at this pre-symptomatic stage, an individual would not normally know that they were infectious. This is not the case for an intentionally infected willing vector.
A willing infectious vector can certainly shed virus before becoming symptomatic.
As for open discussion, yes, you can be sure that anyone interested in doing this will be considering all these options and more that we would never think of.
This is grounds for nuking.

So now the “terrorism experts” have caught up with what we’ve been saying for weeks, if not months. They probably get paid to come up with these ideas.
I’ve got a worse scenario for you to ponder.
One person decides they are willing to be infected and travel to the US. A small group here, say 6 to 10 people, are told that they will be vaccinated against ebola but only saline is administered.
When the infected person arrives, dont get them treated. Rather the small cell decides to keep that person in isolation until they are really sick or dead. Use that first person to extract fluids.
Then split up that small cell of 6 to 10 people and send them to major cities. Have them spread the fluids on door handles of bathroom, subways, spray the fluids on ATMs, or spray them over food buffets. Each day spend 10 to 12 hours leaving infections. Next day, move to a different city. By the end of the first week, you will have “hit” as many as 50 to 60 cities.
At the end of a week, thousands will have been infected. By the end of the second week, the original cell will be starting to show signs and likely be hospitalized and hundreds of thousands will likely to be infected. By the third week, the originals will be dead, and the first set of thousands will be overwhelming their local hospitals and doctors offices.
Very possible and very scary.

So far the false positive rate is 100%.
At some point we may well have a high mortality pandemic, and likely as not the “Bring Out Your Dead” threads will miss the beginning entirely.

The heat from the detonation might inactivate the virus. They could do as much harm violently throwing up in a crowd.
All you can eat buffets and a small perfume bottle with a blood/water mix that is spritzed on the food while no one is looking.
That would make 9/11 look like a walk in the park in comparison of terror attacks, and the guy doing the bleeding can be in a shack somewhere dead while a healthy accomplice spends a couple of WEEKS doing this up and down the east or west coast in every place he can find.
Imagine him/her in Vegas at all the casino buffets day after day until he finally succumbs to the infection and he then dons the vest and takes himself out the easy way.
A few thousand bucks and America can be brought to her knees.
It is not about destroying “large swaths of the population”, it’s about terrorizing them. I can’t think of much that these demented sickos could do short of a nuclear attack that would have a deeper psychological effect than that. A couple episodes of that and this country would be at a stand still.
