Have YOU gotten the latest Tea Party Patriots emergency email...?
If so, you're not alone.
I just got another email from Jenny Beth asking if we have any more funds in the budget that can be directed toward grassroots activities in our targeted states.Well, if you were to check out the Tea Party Patriots Citizens Fund on OpenSecrets, you might walk away scratching your head as to why they would "have to start cutting back our grassroots efforts".And honestly, I'm pretty stressed out... because the answer is NO.
You see, right now, we're still $27,986 away from our weekly fundraising goal.
And if I can't raise those funds in the next few hours, we're going to have to start cutting back our grassroots efforts in key states like Iowa, North Carolina, and New Hampshire.

as part of a local tea party group, we continue to go through our frustrations. The state of CT is seeing very quiet building of the tea party and like minded individuals. So, we have faith.
While it is a blue state and that also hurts, the much larger unaffiliated voter base is a huge opportunity.
We see a “national tea party” as simply not ready for prime time. Grass roots comes first, building state legislatures is our real work. That is what tea party folks in every state should be focused on. Period.
Not until we have a “party apparatus” complete with money functioning fully in each state will we be ready to contemplate a national tea party, or one strong enough to finally replace the RINOs. imho.
History will record the GOPe’ had no leadership, no vision, no message.
And we’re afraid of their own shadows.
Yep, Exactly what I’ve been preaching here in very conservative Douglas County, Colorado.
