ISIS COMMANDER PROMISES: 'WE'LL HAVE OUR REVENGE ON THE RUSSIANS'
Breitbart ^ | October 11, 2014 | by AWR HAWKINS

ISIS commander Tarkhan Batirashvili--aka, "Omar the Chechen"--warns that Russia will soon be targeted by the Islamist group.

According to The Moscow Times, "Batirashvili has gained a fearsome reputation throughout the conflict in Syria." Bloomberg News reports that he now seeks "revenge" on Russia over Moscow's support of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad.

He gave voice to plans for this revenge while talking on the phone with his father, who lives in Georgia's Pankisi Gorge. He told his father: "Don't worry dad, I'll come home soon and show the Russians... I have many thousands following me and I'll get more. We'll have our revenge on the Russians."

The Independent reports that estimates on the number of Chechen fighters in Syria "range between 200 and 1,000." The "concern" is that these fighters are receiving training "to commit terrorist attacks on their return."

The gassings were a huge PR blunder for Assad,...I say the “moderates” used the gas on civilians to sucker Obola into intensifying his attacks on Assad.

Maybe but how would rebels have gotten the gas? Were these not Assad's stockpiles, and did not the Russians obtain the weapons from Assad to destroy? I heard nothing about rebels being in possession of the gas, but then again, over there you never really know who is in possession of what -which equals 1/2 the problem.

This article mentions his call to a father back to Pankisi gorge which is a Georgian area particularly infested with Islamic extremists. I don’t even think the are any other, non-muslim groups left in place since interwar period between first and second Chechen wars.

It is sad that we look forward to the Russian response as tough and merciless, yet we know our response will be dysfunctional at best.

~“Last thing we need is Russian boots on the ground in Syria”

They’re already there.~

I think there is no regular military presense since earlier 2012.

And if not for Obama, Assad’s troops would have been skinned jihadis by themselves long time ago.

Russian boots have been in Syria on and off since the 1970s in Tartus. They’ve been expanding and improving that facility since 2006.

Well, Tartus is probably the most secular city in Syria considering radical Islam. There are many Christians, too.

Because so many underestimated the Nazis. Dr. Tanya said that he thought that they were just a bunch of buffoons who would never gain power, so he no doubt believed that he could afford to ignore them.

Do you suppose if Nazi Germany had won the war they’d be regretting it today?

I saw that comparison too. It seems to always be the loud 20% that control nations, worlds, sandboxes for the quiet, cowed 80%.

Our nation’s politics could be rational and constitutional if we had enough strong willed Breitbarts to stand up to the progressive socialism we now live under.

Your 100% correct about the cold-bloodedness of the Russkies. Life isn’t cheap in Russian culture and society, it’s worthless. I’ve called Putin a stone-cold ex-KGB killer here before and some thought I was being unfair but he is the penultimate product of the system that trained him and the system he once served which he now controls.

Putin will have a much more vigorous response to the Muslim lunatics than Obamugabe.

Putin wants his warm water Navy base on the Med and an Iranian oil funded Syrian/Iranian alliance as a customer for his military-industrial hardware.

I think the Christians in Syria that are sheltering under the Assad minority government have in effect made a pact with the Shiite Iran/Hezbollah Devil that is propping up Assad!

Well, we know that Assad and Iran had for local Christians to offer and the Christians are seems like ok with that.

What is your offer, if any?

Attacking China and Russia will be the end of ISIS. They will not play nice at all. And, it will cause Russia and China to arm Iran and Hezbollah even more.

“What is your offer, if any?”

Hmmm...

That doesn’t sound right and I retract it as a sweeping statement. I expect that most Christians in Syria and also Lebanon are innocents caught up in a nasty neighborhood.

I believe that some of them that thrown in with the Assad Awalite minority regime and have actively participated in it and benefited in repressing the Sunni majority, and could be complicit in its crimes, IIRC.

Simmilarly, in Lebanon, the Maronite Christians have allied with Iranian-backed Hezbollah which has come across the border into Syria to fight against the Free Syrian Army!

IMO, these people who claim to be Christians who have allied with the Assad/Iranian/Hezbollah Axis have betrayed Christian values and let anti-Zionism poison their souls.

There is no safe place for Christians in the Middle East it seems except in Kurdistan and Israel!

he is the penultimate product of the system that trained him and the system he once served which he now controls.

that's what most people don't realize. He smiles...like a crocodile or a shark. He is Russian, he is a communist, he is at the apex of the murderous food chain that is the Russian body politic.

He was head of KGB so therefore he is completely brainwashed/educated/indoctrinated and is a true believer in the communist philosophy. We are his enemy, Christianity is his enemy. Anything that opposes the ideals of communisism and it's goals must be destroyed.

when I saw that idiot Hillary Clinton and the "reset" button I almost felt pitty because she is so clueless as to what they think of her. Putin and the rest of the world thugs see Obama as an inferior intellect and possibly effeminate man.

What do you suggest they have to do in order not to ‘betray Christian values’?
I’m really curious and waiting for your ideas.
