President Obama and the Democratic Party have responded to deep-pocketed greenies, like coal billionaire Tom Steyer, by endlessly delaying the Keystone XL Pipeline, a project that enjoys wide public support, including that of labor unions in the private sector. The cost of that delay has included alienation of our friend and neighbor Canada, for whom finding markets for the vast tar sands energy reserves of Alberta is a key national priority.
It may be hard for Americans to realize how deeply dismayed Canadians are over our failure to proceed on a mutually beneficial project like Keystone. Poisonous seeds have been planted, as Canada sees its future prosperity imperiled by wealthy ideologues in the United States whose political donations mean more to the Obama administration than the welfare of our best friends and largest trading partner by far.

Thanks! I have a condo in S Florida, both my neighbors are Canadians....first generation Italians....Both are conservatives..solid folks. Plus they know how to drink! LOL
Aside from some government legislation protecting overly sensitive people, Canadian society is more like the US was in the 70’s than is the USA today.

Thank you! Eh?
Um, aren't Americans the people who elected, then re-elected Barack Obama?
Okay, now I'll shut up.
Actually, those were Anti-Americans.
Some of them may have been US citizens. Some were not. Many of them were actually dead at the time. Others were simply fictitious characters, or even Democrat family pets.
Not Americans, however.
Why do you put up with this kind of voter fraud? I believe the US is one of the few (the only?) democracies that doesn't require ID when you vote.
Are the moochers from America’s Toupee done blathering yet?
I recently visited St John, New Brunswick, Canada, which is the town (pop about 70,000) that will be at the receiving end of the new Canadian oil pipeline, and where a new refinery and oil tanker docking facilities will be built. Even though my stay was brief I can say the pipeline development couldn’t be happening for a nicer bunch of folks.

I was just trying to make the point that one shouldn't paint all of us with the same brush, and we won't paint all of you with the same brush :)
