I really worry about the soldiers, because those African villages are rife with prostitution

Anyone stupid enough to have sex with an African prostitute in a fourth world hellhole is probably better off out of the gene pool.

The Spanish nurse who contracted Ebola admitted she touched her bare face with her gloved hand. That is a breach of protocol and it was clearly enough to infect herself.

That wasn't the story until she got too sick to defend herself. They they came out with the 'confession'.

CDC doesn’t know what’s going on but the Obama WH mandates that they blame the victim.

With ZERO proof.

Bring Out Your Dead

Post to me or FReep mail to be on/off the Bring Out Your Dead ping list.

The purpose of the “Bring Out Your Dead” ping list (formerly the “Ebola” ping list) is very early warning of emerging pandemics, as such it has a high false positive rate.

So far the false positive rate is 100%.

At some point we may well have a high mortality pandemic, and likely as not the “Bring Out Your Dead” threads will miss the beginning entirely.

*sigh* Such is life, and death...

Can this O-bot bootlicker Friedman cite the precise protocol that was breeched?

Thought not.

CDC continues to be beholden to King Obama.

“This is not a case of “blaming the nurse,” rather it is blame the disease.”

This is not a discussion of the case involving the nurse in Spain.

Your premise makes no sense.

Ebola has been raging for months there, only 4,000+ dead thus far with a lethality rate of 50% they are saying.

Be careful of those numbers.

It will take a couple of weeks for the known cases today to be resolved (recovered or dead). If you compare the known dead with those infected as of two weeks ago, the mortality rate will be more accurate (and in this case, generally upwards of 60-70%).

Another one is when asked a question, they reply, “that’s a great question.”
But right now, I’m just so happy I’m not alone!!

Thank you for that intel, and the stomach it took to obtain it .. venturing into that cesspool makes me itch for a civil war.

First, they tell us Ebola is very difficult to catch.

Then they turn right around and say that even if you’re a trained healthcare specialist wearing a hazmat suit, if you violate a protocol, you can catch it.

These people are nothing but liars.

“venturing into that cesspool makes me itch for a civil war.”

Same here. I figure, let’s just get it over with. This country is dying a slow death into socialism, so might as well take our only shot.

Logic and liberalism do not mix!

What you write makes no sense. This isn’t the flu, toots.

I have some experience with hospitals and disease and all, being a RN with some experience in critical care.

They will go all-out to save any patient with Ebola, including intubation and dialysis, as long as possible with this.

This is all unfolding just like the HIV/AIDS stuff did back in the day. Lots of lies, misinformation and bad advice. I’m not advocating panic, but common sense would be nice.

Like any manufacturing process, there is a distribution of outcomes with (typically small but non-zero) numbers of defective parts.
Unfortunately in this case it means dead people.

Hopefully the virus ability to only survive outside the host a short time, will make it possible to get it under control. Like you said, one day we will underestimate one of these defective parts.

Makes you not want to visit a hospital where Ebola cases are housed.

This quote from CDC Director Tom Frieden shout a shouted far and wide.

It proved he is trying to create a narrative where one does not exist, to deflect accountability:

Frieden said on CBS. “I think the fact that we don’t know of a breach in protocol is concerning because clearly there was a breach in protocol.”

He is giving the lapdog press to run with the “breach of protocol” narrative, which they have eagerly done.

Dr. Friedan is a totally compromised political hack and not to be taken seriously. He may sincerely believe his spew is a good posture for the sake of "the common good," but he is wrong, and lying seldom goes for long before being embarrassed by reality.
